Luis Alania started his career at Bank of America, Merrill Lynch as an analyst role, and graduated to serve as finance controller for a fixed income debt portfolio of over $500 million in yearly profits.
After an eight year tenure at Bank of America, he pivoted to Sponsors for Educational Opportunities (SEO), a non-profit organization. In this role, he successfully managed over four hundred students towards paid internships in financial service institutions.
Mr. Alania has completed an internship at Merchants Capital, a Real Estate agency lender.
His analytical, project management, and business retail experience give him the ability to understand and connect with people from varying prospects of life.
Luis’s has achieved a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Binghamton University, a Certificate of Public Accounting (CPA) license, and a Masters of Business Administration from Columbia Business School. Luis is a resident of Elmont, Long Island, enjoys community service, running, going to church, reading on, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
